The Grail's excellent ride quality, adaptability and decent(ish) value for money makes it my pick of the gravel race bikes on the market today
Calm, confident and stable handling
Well-designed integrated storage
Adaptable
Comfortable
Great build (though there are better-value options in the range)
Slightly fragile tyres, but they’re appropriate for a race bike
Mounts for regular mudguards would have been preferable

Canyon's all-new Grail is reshaped as an aero gravel race bike with integrated storage, a more conventional cockpit, and more refined handling…
Oct 12, 2023 · Suvi Loponen
Offers a fast and reactive ride with a focus on aero gains, without compromising on comfort or versatility
Very comfortable
Efficient power transfer
Innovative and functional frame storage
Great spec
Looks sleek – even better with the Quickloader frame bag
Smallest sizes have slightly different geometry that might affect ride feel
Stock handlebar is wide
